“The sword is an elegant weapon for a more... civilized age,” Norrington said haughtily. Very Obi-Wan Kenobi ;-)

Jack could think of other things they could do in such a situation, but this group didn’t seem into that.
So there aren't any orgies on the Flying Dutchman? Shame on you ;-)

When has Jack ever met undead people?

ROFL at emo!Doctor and emo! Will - sorry, I don't know if it was the intended purpose but I couldn't help it...

She’d probably stormed off and browbeaten Will into submission because, even if he wasn’t going to admit it to her, Jack agreed with the assessment that Will was, all possible pirate factors considered, a complete push-over.
Yep, Will's definitely not very pirate-y.

Yay for Ten reappearing! On the other hand Adric and various Lahnsteins are going to be terribly disappointed...

Jack and Olivia shared a look of incredulity, then slapped themselves on the forehead when they realized they’d found a small bit of common ground.
LOL. Ten is a bit slow on the uptake sometimes... Okay, I admit it: So is Nine (see London Eye for reference ;-)

Hehehe... I'm picturing Tanja von Anstetten (well, now Lahnstein, but I dunno when you stopped watching) with a lightsaber.

There aren't any orgies yet. Actually, I dunno. With Will around I just can't picture any shenanigans. I guess my imagination is limited.

I was thinking of the Resurrection Gauntlet and Suzie in particular (since series 2 never happened in our fic's universe)

Yeah, the emo scene was meant to be funny. I find it very hard to take either Ten or Will very seriously. It's the hair (in both cases).

Yep, and Olivia's pretty scary. I've always thought she should be a space pirate. With an eyepatch.

Adric and the Lahnsteins will be quite preoccupied until Ten's return :)

Hahaha, that London Eye scene was pretty brilliant. As for Ten: "What? What? WHAT?"

Darth Tanja ;-)

In that case: Simply get Will aboard the Empress and leave Jack Harkness on the Dutchman - orgies coming up...

Forgot about Suzie...

The most serious I ever took Ten was the scene in Runaway Bride when he drained the Thames (still haven't seen WoM/EoT so I don't know about that). It's hard to take someone serious who just babbles along at a hundred miles an hour about everything and nothing...

Olivia as a space pirate with an eyepatch - that reminds me of someone but I can't place it...

"Hannes, I am your mother!" "NOOOOOOOOO! THAT'S NOT TRUE! THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!"

Ah, now why didn't I think of that earlier? MAN OVERBOARD!!!!!

Waters of Mars was one of RTD's best episodes by far. And Ten was supposed to be scarily serious. I could sort of buy it, but I also wish they'd built up to the seriousness better. Still, I was quite impressed how dark it went. As for End of Time, you're better off not watching it. It was a disaster that ruined multiple past stories (from both old and new Who) and characters. It made no sense as a story and wasn't even as dramatic or epic as past finales.
